We have great respect for our Limousin
"These are Limousin cattle!” explains Gerald Hinteregger proudly when asked about the breed of his strikingly well-fed animals. “Years ago, when I was one of the pioneers who introduced Limousin to Carinthia, the neighbors were skeptical. But our success proved me one hundred percent right!”
And why Limousin instead of, say, Fleckvieh? “You will hardly find better feed converters!” enthuses Gerald. “Look at these gems. They convert our alpine grass into excellent quality meat. Plus, they’re calm and good-tempered – our guests like that, too!”
