It’s cozy when it’s crowded – not really applicable for a gourmet dinner, but THE tip for all those who like it when the mood “spills over.” There are 30 seats inside, and only slightly more outside – and it’s directly on the slopes! You can’t miss it on the hiking trail. It’s the last hut before the valley, ideal for the perfect stop. Target group: everyone, regardless of social class. Here, locals gather together with holidaymakers. People from the village with their colleagues. It’s just people enjoying each other’s company in a completely casual setting. The atmosphere is as delightfully rustic as the food.

Treat your taste buds to light snacks or mouth-watering Carinthian delicacies. In the evening, the menu also includes ribs, fondue, raclette and burgers from the farm’s own organic beef. And when the tables are cleared, you are welcome to dance on them. A place for lively celebrations in any season. Donkeys, sheep and ponies live in the small stable behind the hut and could also tell their 1001 stories. But they only shake their heads discreetly… after all, what happens at the Groar Alm stays at the Groar Alm.
